Specially Processed Higilite:
Grades that have undergone special treatment to raise their compatibility with rubbers and plastics have been made available to enable utilization of the excellent flame retardance and pronounced smoking suppression effect of Higilite in a broader range of applications.
1. Coupling-agent treated grades
Treated with a silane or titanate coupling agent, to raise their compatibility with resins, used for BMC, SMC, expoxy moldings, polyolefin wire and cable insulation.
2. Low-viscosity grades
Modified to suppress rises in viscosity when used as fillers for liquid plastics, used for BMC , SMC , spray, handlay-up process FRP formings.
3. Low-conductivity grades
Improved in moisture and electric-insulation resistance for applications requiring electric insulation, used for expoxy and polyurethane resin castings printed circuit substrates, and other electronic/electric products.
4. Stearic-acid treated grades
Surface-treated with stearic acid to improve their dispersion in rubbers and plastics, used for rubber, polyvinyl chloride, and polyolefin.
